Adult Cats – Food requirements will vary depending on breed, environment, temperature, and stress factors. Feed twice a day or fill bowl every morning. Show cats will require additional amounts of food depending on their degree of activity and stress. Food intake should be adjusted to maintain optimum body weight.
Gestating/Lactating Females – should be fed free-choice. Generally, gestating/lactating females will require up to two times the amount of food designated for adult cats.
Kittens – may begin eating Dr. Pol High Protein Grain-Free Chicken Recipe for Cats and Growing Kittens at approximately four weeks of age. Introduce dry food to kittens by moistening with warm water. Kittens will consume food three times a day until six months of age, then twice a day until nine months. If fed dry, offer free-choice to kittens.
Provide clean, fresh water at all times. Check with your local veterinarian regularly to ensure your pet is in good health.
Transition Instructions – Mix a portion of Dr. Pol High Protein Grain-Free Chicken Recipe in with your cat’s old food and gradually increase the amount over the next 8 days.
